Participation of the Beninese community in the activities of the visit of the Head of State to Qatar
INFORMATION NOTE
As part of the preparation of electronic identity files for Beninese in the diaspora, the Embassy has the honor of inviting Beninese nationals residing in Qatar to register by downloading the consular card application form below.
Furthermore, the Embassy invites all compatriots to mobilize for their mass registration during the visit of the teams of the National Processing Center of the Council for the Orientation and Supervision of the Permanent Computerized Electoral List (CNT/COS-LEPI) in Doha, for the collection of Biometric Data which will be used, among other things, for the 2016 Presidential Election. Details on the date of the visit of said teams will be communicated to you as soon as possible.

Beninese residing in Qatar are urged to register with the embassy through this website to enable us to create a database of all Beninese within this jurisdiction which is vital/essential to providing an effective service.

INFORMATION NOTE
The Embassy has the honor to inform all Beninese nationals in Qatar of the new procedures established by the competent Beninese authorities before the boarding of any passenger bound for Benin. These procedures are as follows:
1- Any Beninese passenger holding only a foreign passport must be in possession of a valid visa duly obtained from a diplomatic representation of Benin abroad;
2- Any Beninese passenger holding both a foreign passport and a Beninese passport, both (2) valid, is not required to have an entry visa to Benin;
3- Any Beninese passenger holding both a foreign passport and a Beninese passport or a Beninese identity card that is invalid, i.e. expired, is required to obtain a visa issued by a diplomatic representation of Benin abroad or by the Directorate of Emigration and Immigration.
Consequently, all members of the Beninese community are invited to scrupulously respect these provisions.
